 Data Transfer from Chrome to Firefox

There is a lot of data that the user saves on Chrome browser and that is the data that he saves manually or the browser works to save it according to its default settings, but sometimes a malfunction may occur in this browser that makes the user unable to deal with it with that smoothness that was, and therefore may be forced With it to move to another browser and to transfer the saved data to the new browser, and this method is not that easy.
We can find a useful way to transfer the data completely, in case the user moves to the famous Firefox, because it is better in this respect. In addition to that there are many difficulties when transferring data from Chrome to any other browser except for Firefox.
That is why our way here is to transfer between these two browsers only, and it is an easy way that we will explain in the following steps:

How to transfer data from Chrome on Firefox

What we will do is transfer data, bookmarks and all favorites from the old Chrome browser to the new Firefox, which is also a valid method for the Edge browser, but it is not feasible to transfer to Firefox.

First, how to transfer bookmarks and record

  • Log in to bookmarks.
  • Then click on the bookmarks.
  • Then click Show All or alternatively click Ctrl + Shift + B.

  • Click on Import and Backup.
  • Then, select Import data from browser. Click on Import Data From other Browser.
  • If you only want to import bookmark data from Chrome as an HTML file, specify the file format after importing the bookmarks.
  • Then, in the import section, we select Chrome Browser and then click Next until the data is imported from the browser.
  • After that, confirm that all open pages in Chrome are closed before you continue with the process.
  • After that you will be prompted to choose the data  to import.
  • In the event that you have placed multiple profiles on Chrome, Firefox will import all cookies through Chrome browser cookies.
  • Then, Browsing History is imported, Saved Passwords is followed, and Bookmarks are imported.
  •  In case  to import specific data, you can specify what you want as in the last image above.
  • By doing this you have imported all the data and you will see a message stating that the data was successfully imported from Chrome and Firefox
